5G Network Planning and Design
Introduction
Scope of work: Plan, develop and design 5G Radio Network Design Services with respect to designing for a new 5G network or existing network in specified areas. Support delivery of RF designs, validate and analyze design input data, and compile all required output reports.
Challenge
The project has very aggressive deadlines which will require large scale hiring of Design engineers in a very short span of time. This managed services project not only had the complexity of us managing the end-to-end operation with the help of our engineers but also had them report to the client on a regular basis.
Solution
We planned to use scrum methodology for this project due to the scale of the project and the aggressive timelines. This helped us breakdown this large project into smaller, more achievable tasks. We had daily meetings to discuss what’s done and what wasn’t done. The team worked iteratively and incrementally, while continually inspecting and adapting the process.
